Vs.
State of Manipur …Respondents
B E F O R E
HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE KH. NOBIN SINGH
O R D E R

21-12-2021
Heard Shri B.R, Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the
petitioner; Shri Ng. Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the private
respondent and Shri Shyam Sharma, learned Government Advocate
appearing for the State respondents.
It has been submitted by Shri Shyam Sharma, learned
Government Advocate appearing for the State respondents that during
the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has been allotted a quarter
vide order dated 29-11-2021 because of which, Shri B.R. Sharma,
learned counsel was granted time to seek instruction in the matter. Since
the petitioner has no right to occupy a particular quarter, he must get
himself satisfied with the quarter allotted by the Government and
accordingly, the writ petition shall stand disposed of. On instruction, it has
been submitted by Shri B.R. Sharma, learned Advocate that he may be
permitted to submit a representation to the State Government and till the
disposal of the representation, the interim order granted by this court shall
be allowed to continue. Alternatively, the petitioner would like to pursue
with the writ petition.
It has been submitted by Shri Ng. Kumar, learned counsel
appearing for the private respondent that since the petitioner has already
been allotted a quarter, the writ petition can be disposed of.
After having heard the learned counsels appearing for the
parties, this court is of the view that since a quarter has been allotted to
the petitioner, he shall accept it subject to the outcome of the writ petition.

List the matter on 24-01-2022 for disposal in the category of
